- Anytime Goalscorer
- A bet on a player scoring at any point during the match.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the match, expressed as a positive or negative goal margin.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple markets from the same match into a single custom bet.
- Bookmaker
- A company or platform that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Closing Line
- The final odds offered just before an event begins, used to measure the accuracy of a bet.
- Correct Score
- A bet that requires predicting the exact final score of the match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match (win/draw, draw/win, etc.) in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you pick a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Juice
- The commission or extra percentage a bookmaker includes in the odds, essentially the built-in margin.
- Live Betting
- Bets placed after the match has started, with odds that update in real time.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds reflecting the probability.
- Odds Compiler
- A person or algorithm that sets the odds for events, using data and models to estimate probabilities.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- A bet that combines two or more selections into one wager, with odds multiplied together.
- Point Spread
- A margin of victory set by the bookmaker that the favored team must exceed to win the bet.
- ROI
- Return on Investment; the net profit or loss expressed as a percentage of the total amount wagered.
- Scorecast
- A bet that combines predicting the first goalscorer and the exact final score of the match.
- Surebet
- A situation where odds on all possible outcomes guarantee a profit regardless of the result, also known as arbitrage.
- Unit
- A standardized wager size, often a small percentage of the bankroll, used to manage risk.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered appear higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting a positive expected value.
